You Put the Mouse in the Coconut . . .
In another distinct example of Disney synergy, the classic cartoon Hawaiian Holiday is revisited again for this theme park consumer product. Fellow Disney blogger Ryan Wilson sent these pics on after our recent Hawaii-themed posts. Ryan is the author of Main Street Gazette, a fun, upbeat Disney World-centric blog that's definitely worth a look. I was disappointed to learn that I missed seeing Ryan on October 1 amidst the happy chaos. But hey Ryan, thanks for the Coconut Patties!

We shared these in a morning meeting last week.. I had fun informing everyone about Topless Minnie. Couldn't have done it without you!
Oh.. don't you think they're insanely sweet? A little too much for me. Now, a Mickey Dark Chocolate bar...
Jiminy Crickets! I love chocolate and coconut!!
It just wouldn't be a trip to WDW without them! They are really sweet, but we usually restrain ourselves to only getting one box per visit. So, that means we have to stretch them into small doses to make them last.
Thanks for the kind words Jeff! It means a lot.
JEFF!! This is entirely WAY too scary. I was stocking these very coconut patties today and started thinking about you and your post on Hawaiian Holiday. I was actually thinking about taking a photo of them and sending it to you.
I am officially freaked out now... :-)
Jessica,
It's just another sign of how small of a world this community is
Maybe we should do the 6 degrees of Jeff Pepper.
How many Disney products can you relate back to Jeff Pepper in 6 steps or less?
Liked how they put a drawing based on Pluto's encounter with a crab scene from the cartoon. I always like the music Paul Smith did for that scene with bagpipes and everything.
...one of my must-have treats when visiting WDW. Has anyone tried the Key Lime flavor...? YUMMY!
Someone... please.. send... me... Mickey coconut patties... must... "research" them... again. ;)
Scary how we all seem to gravitate towards the same things. The Appreciation Society grows and grows..
I must say that I have pretty much ignored the candy bins when I'm at Disney.
My logic is that if I'm going to blow my diet, then I'm getting ice cream!
It never dawned on me that even the candy bins could hold subtle nods to Disney magic of old.
Lou - let me know how many you would like! I would be happy to send you some to assist with your "research." :-)
So Jessica...
There are perks to being in C.A.S?
Oh well...
Aw George, as an Honorary CAS member I'll send you some too. :-)
Finally!
Some validation.
So, how do you move from honorary to full member? And is Jeff in charge of membership?
