Wasn't there also a version of PeopleMover which used linear induction motors?
Ron: Yes. The WEDway PeopleMover at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom debuted with linear induction motors (and still uses them today).
The Disneyland incarnation was the original, and used a prodigious supply of Goodyear tires :-]
