Snapshot! - Tomorrowland Twilight

Tomorrowland at Walt Disney World possesses a visual dynamic not shared but its other Magic Kingdom counterparts, with the possible exception of Main Street U.S.A. You see its dramatic and elaborate landscape well before you step onto its retro-futuristic Avenue of the Planets. This is particularly true after sunset when light and color combine for an often stunning tableau.

I desperately hope that the '98 refit goes the way of the Epcot wand. Restore Tommorowland to it's 50's retro-future style. Imagine how that aesthetic could be executed with the technology of today... it could be amazing, instead of gaudy and non-sensical.

Excuse me Jay, but Jeff Pepper was talking about WDW's Tomorrowland in this entry, not DL's.

Sorry, thought they both happened around the same time. I guess the awfulness arrived a few years earlier in Florida.

Sorry, but I must disagree. The current Tomorrowland is great as it is.

The land's current look is more timeless than the previous incarnations.
