Snapshot! - Of Phones and Foosball

Over the top is certainly one of the best ways to describe the environment that is Disney's Pop Century Resort. This juxtaposition of an iconic Mickey Mouse consumer product with classic table top recreation pays homage to the decade of the 1970s, and is pretty magnificent in its scope and design.

Actually, the Mickey phone and foosball court are part of the 70s buildings' courtyard. :)

Opposite the Mickey phone is that #1 method of 70s transportation, the Big Wheel!

(or at least, that's what I thought while watching Captain Kangaroo on CBS (prior to his move to PBS)...at least, until the Green Machine came along!)

Hey, I was given that Mickey phone last month! Must've been a popular model in the 1970s to be used as an icon for the resort.

Oops! Thanks Joe--I'll correct the post. I'm really beginning to feel my age, my decades are blurring. . .
