If there has been one extinct Walt Disney World attraction whose legend has grown exponentially since its demise, that would certainly have to be the GE sponsored pavilion that was a hopeful look into 21st century living. Horizons captured the imaginations of countless EPCOT Center guests from its debut in 1983 to its quiet closing on January 9, 1999.
