Snapshot! - Nature Hiding in Plain Sight

As many readers here already know, I am a huge fan of Walt Disney World's Wilderness Lodge. And this is one of the reasons why.

Details abound throughout the resort, and many hide in plain sight. Anyone who checks in at the front desk is likely standing only inches away from any one of these six critters. These bronze statues are set equally spaced from each other on the underside of the check-in/concierge counters and are easily lost from view in the vast expanse that is the lodge's amazing and breathtaking lobby.

That is a great detail, Jeff.

Maybe a DSI of the Wilderness Lodge for next year's MouseFest?

I'm sure you could devote quite a blog series to things "Hiding in Plain Site"

What I love about the way these statues are set is that they are just PRIME for discovery by children! Even if adults don't notice, the children standing by during check-in are sure to discover them (as our son did!) and be delighted....

We too are HUGE Wilderness Lodge fans (even with DVC we always try to stay at the Villas).

I've noticed those critters myself and they are beautiful!!
