Bob Sewell came on board at WED Enterprises shortly after the opening of Disneyland in 1955. A model shop veteran, Sewell was often in charge of show installations at the park. He was involved in the development of a diverse array of attractions including Nature's Wonderland, the Grand Canyon Diorama, the Submarine Voyage, the Swiss Family Treehouse and the Enchanted Tiki Room.

How cool that somebody actually wrote about this!

Confirmed. My uncle Bob Sewell died on Friday. I was lucky enough to see him last weekend, and he was as lucid and gracious as ever. He was truly an amazing person - creative, knowledgeable, brilliant, gentle. Some of his natural history exhibits can be found at the Desert Museum (Tucson, underground) and at LA Museum of Natural History. David Peterzell
