Walt Disney's Magazine. Used to promote a subscription premium offer, the artwork of Mickey, Pluto, Huey, Dewie and Louie had actually been recycled from the 1955 studio Christmas card. A television set featuring Donald Duck on the screen was replaced with an official Mickey Mouse phonograph to tie in with the subscription card's offer of a free Mickey Mouse Club record. Instead of Christmas songs, the nephews were originally reading a copy of
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

It's amazing when you pay attention how you can spot how much Disney art was recycled. I've posted an example on oneof my blogs that shows a late 1930s Dopey Merry Christmas illustration that was used in a Kay Kamen shoestore premium, and then republished in a William Banks Levy Mickey Mouse Holiday magazine.
