Putting the Archeology in Theme Parkeology

An incredible example of the Imagineers' attention to detail from the Mexico pavilion at Epcot. I have long been fascinated by the Aztec civilization and for that reason Mexico has always been one of my favorite destinations in World Showcase.

Often times, visiting the countries of World Showcase would inspire my choices in reading material. The mesoamerican designs here led me to Gary Jennings' novel Aztec, which in turn became one of my favorite works of historical fiction.
